Order of play for Thursday the 19th of August, Beth Grey vs Amelai Stuart, Marcus Willis vs Patrick Brady, James Ward vs Qualifier

We are really excited to welcome guests to The Liverpool International Tennis Tournament on the 19 and 20th of August. It has certainly been a challenging time for everyone during the pandemic and I guess we are still not out of the woods yet but we feel it is right and safe to put on our event so we can enjoy high quality tennis and prepare for the 20th anniversary of our tournament next year.

We at the Liverpool International Tennis Tournament are very keen to build on Neal Skupski of Allerton incredible mix double success at Wimbledon this summer and hence we will start a mix doubles only competition between Cheshire and Lancashire.

Another huge talent joins the British lineup in Liverpool. Patrick Brady The 16-year-old was one of only two British boys to make it through Wimbledon qualifying and put in two strong performances in the main draw.

Both players are excited to play at the Liverpool International and will bring some great tennis to the tournament we are sure! Book your tickets now to enjoy a great day out for all the family.

Emma Raducanu won her first International Junior U18 event in Liverpool at the age of 12 in 2015, she is now in the last 16 and the only British player left in Wimbledon.

Due to some very heavy and difficult bubble restrictions on all the players participating in Wimbledon this year we found it most sensible to push back our event until August when things will hopefully feel a lot safer and most people including the players will be vaccinated.

Join Liverpool BID Company and Marketing Liverpool, for the next Liverpool Visitor Economy panel on Thursday 25 February, 12-1pm.

We at Northern Vision hope that all is well with everyone involved with our event and their friends and family.
