Take Tennis Into the City
A Liverpool International partnership doesn’t begin and end with tournament week.
Our community programme takes tennis into the heart of Liverpool, giving local people opportunities to pick up a racket and get involved in one of the world’s healthiest sports.
Our annual Festival of Tennis runs for three weeks across the city, while Kids Only Day gives around 500 primary school children the opportunity to enjoy coaching, fitness and learning activities in a professional tennis environment.
Over the years, our community activity has introduced more than 60,000 local children to tennis.

Support the Next Generation
Our year-round programme also gives young players opportunities to compete internationally without leaving Liverpool.
Emma Raducanu competed with us in 2015, six years before winning the US Open. Wirral’s Abi Redman later secured a full tennis scholarship in the USA after winning our ITF tournament.
In 2027, five international junior tournaments will bring more than 1,200 players aged 12–18 from nearly 50 countries to Liverpool for ITF and Tennis Europe competition.
