Liverpool International is an exhibition tournament combining ATP/WTA and legendary players over four days. The event has been running for 14 years and has grown to be the largest exhibition tennis tournament in Europe. Liverpool International takes place every year, a week before Wimbledon, and serves as a warm-up event for the current ATP and WTA stars. Liverpool International is a round-robin tournament throughout the four days of the event.
Kids day
Liverpool International Tennis Tournament always starts with the “Kids Only Day” the day before the main draw play kicks off. Every year, up to 5000 children from regional primary schools are invited to enjoy a full tennis experience, from receiving tennis clinics to watching the qualifying finals. A day filled with activities for kids between 7 and 12 which makes the tournament one of a kind, and has introduced more than 60,000 kids to tennis over the last 14 years.
