How to get there

Within walking distance of Liverpool’s underground Metro network and just off the A561, Liverpool Cricket Club is ideally situated, with easy access for all. Located on the edge of Liverpool, the surrounding area is quiet yet close enough to the city centre to allow attendees to travel as it suits them.

By train

Getting the train to the Liverpool International Tennis Tournament couldn’t be easier with Merseyrail. Liverpool Cricket Club is within walking distance from Aigburth Station.

With a £13 Family Ticket, up to two adults and three children can enjoy unlimited off-peak travel on the Merseyrail network for an entire day. Or get the train with a Day Saver ticket, which starts from £4.45 for adults or £2.20 for children for all-day, off-peak travel. These tickets can be used after 9.30 am Monday – Friday and all day on weekends and bank holidays.

By car

From Junction 7 M62

At Junction 6, come off onto the A5300 heading towards Runcorn Bridge and continue until the very end. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A561 and follow the signs for Liverpool Airport. 5 miles along, and the road becomes Speke Boulevard (the Jaguar factory will be on your right side), continue along this road and past the Marriott Hotel and David Lloyd Centre on your left.

Continue along, and the road becomes Aigburth Road, stay on Aigburth Road until you see Liverpool Cricket Club on your left side. The entrance is a sharp left after the traffic lights at the junction of Riversdale Road.

From end of M62

At the end of the M62, turn left at the Rocket pub onto Queens Drive A5058, following signs for the University Halls. Continue straight past the Childwall Fiveways pub until the 2nd roundabout, at this point, take the 2nd exit and immediately take a left at the traffic lights (HSBC bank) onto Allerton Road.

Carry on along Allerton Road onto Mather Avenue (past the Tesco on the right), take the 2nd turn off on the right after Tesco onto Booker Avenue and carry on straight down, through a set of lights, for approx. ½ mile until the very end. Liverpool Cricket Club is straight ahead.

From M56/Runcorn Bridge

Follow the signs for the A561. When on the A561, follow the signs for Liverpool Airport. Continue for approx. 5 miles along, and the road becomes Speke Boulevard (the Jaguar factory will be on your right side), continue along this road and past the Marriott Hotel and David Lloyd Centre on your left.

By bus

Take the 82 or 82A bus (every few minutes) from Paradise Street Bus Station and ask to stop at Liverpool Cricket Club (on the opposite side of the road), this will take approx. 15 mins.
