Alex Fook-Knowles won the qualifying final against Calvin Duke at Palmerston Tennis Club, the score was 8-4 in a superset. Alex will now play former Davis Cup Winner James Ward on centre-court on Thursday 19th Aug at Liverpool Tennis Club. Alex is photographed below with tournament referee Mike McBrien. We are really excited to welcome guests to The Liverpool International Tennis Tournament on the 19 and 20th of August. It has certainly been a challenging time for everyone during the pandemic and I guess we are still not out of the woods yet but we feel it is right and safe to put on our event so we can enjoy high quality tennis and prepare for the 20th anniversary of our tournament next year.

Men’s 2019 Final – 11 AM

Paolo Lorenzi will prepare for Wimbledon in Sunday’s final against Robert Kendrick from America. Lorenzi, alongside Roger Federer, is the oldest top-100 player on the ATP tour. Finals day will begin at an earlier time of 11am due to adverse weather conditions forecasted for late-afternoon.
