Nadia made it to the semi-final of The French Open in 2020 and was ranked 36 in the world and she has won WTA tour events in doubles.
Last Friday we held our first touch tennis session on Castle Street in the heart of Liverpool city centre. Over looked by the splendid Liverpool Town Hall the session was great fun with lots of people joining in as they passed by!

Given Roach of Loughborough national tennis academy and Ben Hudson of Sterling national tennis academy wins the first week of ITF G5 singles championships in Liverpool by beating Mia Wainwright and Heney Jefferson in exiting finals. The Liverpool International Junior Tournament is one of the most popular ITF events in Europe based on its entry list including more than 1500 players from all over the world.

James Ward beats Marcus Willis to become the Liverpool International 2021 Men’s Singles Champion
Marcus Willis beats Patrick Brady to qualify for tomorrow’s final against Marcus Willis who beat local qualifier Alex Foot-Knowles. Play commences tomorrow at 1pm.
Alex Fook-Knowles won the qualifying final against Calvin Duke at Palmerston Tennis Club, the score was 8-4 in a superset. Alex will now play former Davis Cup Winner James Ward on centre-court on Thursday 19th Aug at Liverpool Tennis Club. Alex is photographed below with tournament referee Mike McBrien. Mike McBrien is representing the Vagabonds Tennis Club.

We are really excited to welcome guests to The Liverpool International Tennis Tournament on the 19 and 20th of August. It has certainly been a challenging time for everyone during the pandemic and I guess we are still not out of the woods yet but we feel it is right and safe to put on our event so we can enjoy high quality tennis and prepare for the 20th anniversary of our tournament next year.
We at the Liverpool International Tennis Tournament are very keen to build on Neal Skupski of Allerton incredible mix double success at Wimbledon this summer and hence we will start a mix doubles only competition between Cheshire and Lancashire.
Another huge talent joins the British lineup in Liverpool. Patrick Brady The 16-year-old was one of only two British boys to make it through Wimbledon qualifying and put in two strong performances in the main draw.
Both players are excited to play at the Liverpool International and will bring some great tennis to the tournament we are sure! Book your tickets now to enjoy a great day out for all the family.
Emma Raducanu won her first International Junior U18 event in Liverpool at the age of 12 in 2015, she is now in the last 16 and the only British player left in Wimbledon.
