Patrick has a strong affinity with the area as his father and coach has been a Liverpool season ticket holder for over 25 years and they have many friends in the area. Patrick is being mentored by Ken Skupski and his coach Anthony Hardman.
Patrick thanked his team at Wimbledon saying:
“My team have done so much to get me here, so it was nice to give something back,” he said.
“I just want to focus on my game plan each match and do what I can, but now I want more.”
Tournament director Anders Borg says « we have had so many great young players over the years who have gone on to become world no 1 and we are really excited to have Patrick here and we are sure he has a great tennis future!
