The first day of the Liverpool Hope University Tennis Tournament kicked off with our local qualifiers taking on top ATP and WTA players in the initial rounds of the round-robin exhibition event. The Liverpool crowd was then thoroughly entertained by an epic marathon legends match with Robert Kendrick just pipping Guillermo Canas 17-15 in the final set tie-break.
