Despite a rainy start to this year’s tournament, the weekend brightened up and really brought out the crowds out at Calderstones, culminating in a gloriously sunny finale on Sunday.
Highlights of the day included a centre court match between Greg Rusedski vs Anders Jarryd, as well as a Legends doubles match featuring the ever-entertaining Mansour Bahrami and local champion Barry Cowan vs Peter Fleming / Peter McNamara.
The French Iranian Mansour Bahrami certainly stole the show, wowing the crowds with his unique trick shots and on court comedy.
Anders Borg, Tournament Director says, “It was a fantastic end for this year’s tournament. The sun was out, the atmosphere was electric and I think everyone had a really great time. Thank you to everyone who came along.”
