Sponsors of this year’s Liverpool International were delighted with the result and with their involvement in the tournament. In particular they were pleased with the brand exposure they received leading up to the event and the unique and memorable experiences the event could offer themselves and their clients.
National Accountants, Mazars have been supporters of the event for three years now, David Nicholls a Partner at the Liverpool firm said: “Mazars has been delighted to work as accounting advisors to the Liverpool International Tennis Tournament. In our experience the event is professionally run, provides excellent sporting action, and importantly, corporate hosts have the opportunity to entertain guests in a relaxed atmosphere in a marquee full of contacts and targets”.
Grosvnor were one of this year;s new sponsors, they have invested a lot in the development of Liverpool One and their landmark residential scheme, One Park West, in conjunction with newly formed Jones Lang LaSalle, they were a Presenting sponsor of this years event; “I have to say the four days at Calderstones were absolutely fantastic, as a sponsor you get access to former Wimbledon Champions, a once in a lifetime experience. On a corporate level the prominence of your logo and brand awareness is excellent and the organisers really make you feel part of the team and involved at all times. We were delighted with our association with the event and can only hope we can have involvement again in the future”, Martyn Green – Director Jones Lang LaSalle.
Other sponsors including Hilton, Brabners and smaller companies such as design duo Core Design all feel that the tournament not only benefits their companies, but more importantly the City, which is mirrored by the Council’s continued support in the event.
