The Women’s event at Liverpool International Tennis Tournament began today with impressive wins from both Qiang Wang and Nadia Podoroska.
In the second match of the day, Qiang Wang beat last year’s runner-up Amelia Fortescue 8-2 in a very impressive set of tennis.
This match was followed by an incredibly close battle between Nadia Podoroska (ARG) and Yue Yuan (CHN) with the Argentinian edging the match 8-6.
